Condition monitoring simply means that every machine is regularly subjected to a ‘health check’ – normally with a vibration measurement: in the simplest case, the vibration measurement instrument which is used to perform this check provides a numerical value which can be compared with a standard value to indicate the machine states, Good - OK - Bad.
