Use the latest smartSCANNER Update Tool for updating your smartSCANNER computer with the sensor firmware file.
After this you can update the sensor from smartSCANNER computer.

Please use the VIBSCANNER Update Tool version 2.89 to install this firmware update.
New in version 1.01 build 38:
Alignment:
- User default set up for coupling diameter and RPM implemented.
- Unit for RPM is now selectable in 1/min or RPM under setup/unit/speed.
- When a file is saved, the file name is now displayed in the status line on
the main screen. - If a file is not saved under a specific name, it will automatically be
given the name "NoName+ date +time" when the device is switched off. - Sensor Info: Version, manufacturing date and serial number of the sensor
are shown under menu/setup/sensor info. - Average setting: The selection is now shown with a check mark and
confirmed with "OK" in the Menu. - Changing from vertical to horizontal move is now possible without
re-measuring. - Spacer shaft coupling: Improvement of the tolerance check during "Move".
- The screen scaling in the Move is set to "Auto-scale" by default. It can
alternatively be set to "Fixed Scale" from the Move menu. - Softfoot: Measurement is now possible at 90° or 270° plus/minus 20° due
to the active inclinometer and the adjustment for the physical angle. - Print baudrate is shown when selecting "Report" to confirm the baudrate
selection when using the "Printing Tool". - Other user interface improvements within:
