Roll alignment: PARALIGN

Roll misalignment is a root cause of wrinkles, paper/foil tears and unfitting registers of printed products. Production lines in the paper, printing, steel-rolling, foil-extrusion and converting industry today run at faster speeds than formerly, whereas the alignment methods of the rolls has not changed.

Using three high precision ring laser gyroscopes, the system measures the vertical and horizontal position of your rolls and compares the results to a standard or reference roll or datum.
