EDDYCHEK 3 was PRÜFTECHNIK's first digital eddy current testing equipment. A piece of cutting edge technology at its time, the EDDYCHEK 3 featured a digital touchpad with softkeys for entering testing parameters and a screen which displayed the amplitudes of the differential and the absolute channels in real time. It enabled two channel testing and an additional absolute channel. A built-in recorder offered printouts for statistical process control for concise defect location reports.
This product was discontinued in the year 2004. Its successor is 
EDDYCHEK 5 advanced.
