OPTALIGN smart which already holds titles to two prestigious awards – “reddot design award“ and "Product of the Year 2007" – has now been nominated for the 2008 Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The Design Award is the official recognition of excellence in design presented by the Federal Republic of Germany. It is the central action in the campaign of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology to promote good design

 This award is also known as “the prize of prizes” because two important conditions apply: The product must have already won a big design award, and must be recommended by an official German institution such as the Ministry of Trade and Industry or Economics and Technology. Of course with the “reddot design award”, OPTALIGN smart fulfilled the nomination requirements.

From a record submission of 1023 quality products, OPTALIGN smart was distinguished with the title “Design Award 2007 Nominee”. This award is further evidence that PRÜFTECHNIK Alignment Systems lays special emphasis not only to the functionality of its products but also to the design and ergonomics of all new products.
