One of the most revolutionary innovations from PRÜFTECHNIK during the last 25 years is certainly the development of the ROTALIGN sensor technology!

The five-axis sensor with two fully-linearized position detectors, optically located one behind the other, measures the laser beam position with a resolution of 1 micron. A built-in electronic inclinometer automatically determines the shaft rotation angle. As the shafts are rotated, a large number of readings are taken in both detectors, which scribe the exact trajectory of the laser during the shaft rotation, precisely determining the relative positions of the shaft centerlines.This unique measurement principle allows the machine correction to be accurately monitored simultaneously in both horizontal and vertical planes.
