PRÜFTECHNIK Condition Monitoring strongly recommends that you make backup copies of all important data on a regular basis. PRÜFTECHNIK Condition Monitoring assumes no responsibility for data lost or altered as a result of improper use, repairs, defects, battery replacement/failures or any other cause. PRÜFTECHNIK Condition Monitoring assumes no responsibility, directly or indirectly, for financial losses or claims from third parties resulting from the use of this product and any of its functions, such as loss or alteration of stored data, etc. ======================================================================== --- Java installation notes --- ======================================================================== Java's Update Scheduler will be deactivated upon installation. We install Java as a "private Runtime" for the PRÜFTECHNIK software - this means it is not installed as a "public Runtime" (a public Java Runtime would be automatically and generally available to other software on the system, whereas the usage of a private Runtime by other software requires some extra effort on behalf of that other software). If an older version of a private Runtime, that was installed by and for PRÜFTECHNIK software, exists - it is replaced. Please contact our support team, if you want to use another installation of Java for running VIBXPERT Utility. ======================================================================== --- Known bugs --- ======================================================================== - Potentially USB transfer is nonsatisfying for very large ( >50MB ) files. ======================================================================== --- New in version 1.1.0 --- ======================================================================= - Communicating via USB or Ethernet. - Installing printer library - Changing the background image - Starting VIBXPERT UpdateTool ( new Version 1.34 ) - Transferring PDF files from VIBXPERT, - Transferring screenshots. - Transferring timewave recorder files. - Backing up / restoring result files or device settings - Languages: English / Deutsch - Registration for optional modules - Optional: Transferring spectra, timewaveform, bumptest and phase to Universal file format - Optional: Transferring timewaveform recording to IEEE format - optional: db Spectra ======================================================================== --- System requirements --- ======================================================================== VIBXPERT Utility runs on any desktop or notebook PC that meets the following minimum configuration requirements: Operating system Windows 2000 Prof. (SP3) / XP Prof. (SP1a) Processor Pentium III, 400 MHz; 1800MHz or more recommended RAM 512 MB; 1 GB recommended Swap file min. 2 x RAM Hard disk 1 GB free CD-ROM drive required for program installation Monitor SVGA 800 x 600 with 256 colors (8 bit) or more Mouse required Java Java Standard Edition Runtime 1.5.0 or newer Printer Windows-compatible ======================================================================== --- Legal notes and disclaimers --- ======================================================================== Sun and Java are trademarks or registered trademarks of Sun Microsystems, Inc. in the U.S. or other countries.
