CONTENU

  • Understand why improvement is desired – introduction, understanding benefits, how do we make the change?

  • Understand why “failure” occurs – understand what is “failure”

  • Understand what we can all do about it – the “defect elimination” concept, the “asset reliability strategy”, work management, spares management, precision and proactive work, condition monitoring, breaking out of reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement

OBJECTIFS

Category I (Advocate) training and certification ensures that people working in management, engineering, operations/production, and maintenance, at all levels, will be on-board with the philosophy of reliability improvement. Everyone will be on the same page, pulling in the same direction. Training will demystify the process and encourage their contribution, and the certification will recognize their knowledge and reward their effort.

PROFIL

Track A: Intended for everyone working within an organization in any way influence the management, design, engineering, procurement, maintenance, or operation of an organization that involves critical rotating machinery and electrical equipment.

Track B: Intended for senior management, maintenance and operations/product management, engineers, junior reliability engineers, and condition monitoring professionals who need to understand the “big picture” of the reliability and performance improvement process.

PRÉREQUIS

Prior experience is not required for attending the training course, but 6 months of general industrial experience is required for certification.
